"If you're on Gili Air, definitely stop by Ala Turka! My husband had the Falafel Plate and it was fantastic – crispy falafel, fresh salad, potato wedges, and warm bread, all served with delicious dips. Especially the homemade garlicdip!! I had the Lentil Soup, which was also really tasty! With the food we had the amazing healthy and homemade Ayran, a typical Turkish yogurt drink that you shouldn’t miss! They also have a great variety of delicious and freshly pressed juices, for only 25k!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great, healthy and homemade food on the island!!"

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I enjoyed a Kofte Wrap with a super yummy Jogurt sauce on the side plus an Ayran Drink. The salad was very fresh and the taste of both, drink and dish plus the interior and music were absolutely authentic. After finishing my dinner, I even got a Turkish tea for free. The prices are super fair compared to the portions and quality of the food. Definitely a good address if you are hungry and looking for a valuable, nourishing yet healthy meal containing all that your body needs to be perfectly fueled for more Island Adventures. "When you arive with the boat and you are hungry and hot, this is the best place to cool down and have some food! Super friendly and quick service. Best kebab I had in a while with a lot of chicken! It is so nice, we visited every day we where on the island. The owner treats you like family and makes sure you have everything you need. He can also give you good recommendations for other restaurants. 10/10 recommend."

"Here at Gili, everything is just a walk away and we decided to try our last dinner on our last day at Ala Turka! My friend and I never really tried Turkish food but he really loves wraps and that’s why we decided to come here. We ordered the Tantuni Kebab, Fallafel Wrap, the lentil soup (which we totally forgot the name lol), and a yogurt drink (also forgot the name). Food: All in all, it was very good! I also really like the garlic sauce for the fallafel wrap, it was very delicious. On top of that, the staff gave up complimentary Turkish tea! Very sweet of them. Service: The staff was super friendly, very attentive and they really made us feel comfortable :) Atmosphere: LOL it’s so funny cause there’s this really miserable orange cat that just keeps meowing at anyone that comes his way! Very fun to interact with though haha. Would recommend others to come here! If you’ve never tried Turkish food, this is where it’s at :)"
